A MacDowell and Karolyi Foundation Fellow, a Rona Jaffe Award recipient, and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellow, Laura Mullen holds degrees from the University of Iowa and U.C. Berkeley. Her first book, The Surface, was a National Poetry Series selection: her subsequent poetry collections and hybrid-genre works have been published by the University of California Press, FuturePoem, and Otis / Seismicity—among other presses. Her collaboration with composer Nathan Davis—"a Sound uttered, a Silence crossed"—had its premiere in La Jolla in 2015, and a collaboration (Verge) with John David O'Brien was published in 2017. Mullen’s translation of Véronique Pittolo's Hero was published by Black Square Editions in 2019. Her 9th book, a collection of poems titled EtC, was published by Solid Objects in 2023.

Kristin Sanders is the author of the hybrid poetry book Cuntry (Trembling Pillow Press, 2017), a finalist for the 2015 National Poetry Series, and two poetry chapbooks. Her work has been included in Prose Poetry: An Introduction (Princeton University Press, 2020); the Weird Sister Anthology (Feminist Press, 2024), Longreads, Literary Hub, Columbia Journal, Los Angeles Review of Books, Bitch Magazine, The Guardian, and elsewhere. Originally from Santa Maria, California, she is currently based in Paris, France.
